It's a game from 2003. I got it just a few weeks ago from a friend of mine at school (he's a game freak, if you must know, and beats even the hardest ones like they were nothing. : . Anyways, it was originally supposed to be called Final Fantasy Adventure/Final Fantasy eleven, but they made a different one with a different story and had to change this games name. It's basically an action RPG like the Legacy of Goku games except that you have weapons and use magic. I've only gotten to the part in Wendel where you have to go to the Cathedral, and my character keeps saying, "It's locked..." and I can't enter, so I'm not sure what to do and the FAQS say to just go through it but...ya know...I can't... So, has anybody played this game or heard about it before and can give me some help? Thanks. ;D

Don't go expecting Legend of Zelda GBA game-type because it's not like that...the gameplay is a bit clunky...but still fun. ;D

I prefer its predecessor, Seiken Densetsu 2 & 3. I don't think there was ever a Seiken Desnetsu 1, though... weird.

You got your info kinda wrong Vegi. FF Adventure was a NES game. They were gonna release it as Seiken Densetsu, but they thought it'd fail. So, they used FFA.Then, seeing it was REALLY popular(well, in Japan), they made Seiken Densetsu 2 and 3 for the SNES, which would be called Secret of Mana(Released in the US) and "Secret of Mana 2"(Not released in the US, so no english name).
Sword of Mana is a remake of FFA for the GBA. That's all.
Not FF XI or whatever.
And, BTW, I did play the game, and got up to a bit after you get Salamander(Fire Spirit), but got bored. Can't remember anything about a cathedral tough. Maybe you missed something important before, and that's why it's locked.

Oh, well, sorry. I saw on Gamespot that it was called FF Adventure but a friend told me it was eleven. Gonna kick him in the nuts tomorrow... ;D And BTW, I got past that part, it turned out I had to free some damn birds before I could continue... ... ;D

Hey, don't swear at the birds. And that game was pretty freakin' fine. The only part about it that really stood out as crappy was the plot. I mean, the main villain's name being something along the lines of 'Dark Lord'? LAME.

I'm gonna have to say...hmm....Chrono Trigger for me. Well, I guess FFX, but then, that game's plot was so messed up...
